Hon’s Construction, Inc is a San Francisco based general contracting company, dedicated to providing exceptional service since 1982.  We are a family owned and operated company and procure a majority of our projects through referrals and word of mouth because of our notable reputation.

With over three decades of experience, HCI has prided itself in honesty, client satisfaction, and superior quality. We work on projects which range from small residential and commercial renovations, to over $1,000,000 renovations which involves both structural and architectural work.

We offer extremely competitive prices and work hard to exceed our client’s expectations.  We also work hand in hand with our subcontractors, all of whom are also experienced and offer competitive pricing.   We understand all the issues and concerns that come with every project, and strive to overcome and resolve any and all issues that may arise with the client in-mind. We give the guidance to clients for a start to finish job.

Meet our Team

We see projects through from the initial design phase to completion. Armed with project managers and a full battery of tradesmen, we are capable of handling nearly any project. From restaurant build outs and retail renovations to designing medical offices, we have had our hand in all sorts of building and construction projects. We also specialize on residential additions and full remodels to make your property into the dream home you always wish for!

Victor & Alice Hon

FOUNDERS

Victor and Alice Hon came to the US with the vision of making their American Dreams come true through hard work and dedication. Being a committed team for over 45 years, Victor and Alice started HCI in 1981. Their vision was to better the community by building and remodeling homes, one project at time. After 13 years of continued success, Victor and Alice became semi-retired and had their two sons take over the company. Today they are still the very much involved in the development to the company’s business, community and corporate relationships. As the founders of HCI, Victor and Alice Hon continues to be present in the strategic and corporate direction for the company.

Darryl Hon

VICE PRESIDENT

As Vice President of HCI, Darryl is in charged with executing HCI’s strategic plan and providing execution on all corporate projects and resources since 2003. His expertise in implementing strategies that support the company vision, setting direction, and maintaining focus on the assets of the company have made him a key leader for HCI.
 
Learning the construction trade from his father since he was a young man, Darryl has mastered all the skills needed to be successful in providing HCI with strong leadership and core values.

Jason Hon

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Jason is dedicated to ensuring that the culture of HCI – responsibility, accountability, and commitment – continues to permeate and strengthen the organization. Jason hands on and direct oversight of all projects management and employees has always exceeded client expectations.

Steve Peterson

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Steve brings over 20 years of experience in daily field operations. Steve is responsible for the management and allocation of the company’s field personnel and manages HCI safety and educational training programs.
 
Steve is very active and enjoys acquiring new projects. He is a seasoned entrepreneur and joined HCI at the start of 2015.

Brian Jackson

GENERAL MANAGER

Brian oversight of HCI’s daily field operations. Brian is responsible for the management and allocation of the company’s field personnel and manages HCI’s safety and educational training programs. Brian’s thorough and strong work ethic is a great asset to HCI. Brian is a leader to his peers and he truly builds a strong team catering to each project needs.
